NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING of the Franchise and Concession Review Committee and The Department of Parks & Recreation ( Parks ) to be held on 11/9/2026, at 255 Greenwich Street, 8 th Floor, in Manhattan commencing at 2:30 p.m. relative to: INTENT TO AWARD as a concession a Permit Agreement ( Permit ) to Urban Space Holdings, Inc. ( Permitee ) for the Installation, Operation and Management of an Outdoor Holiday Gift Market at Union Square Park, Manhattan, NY 10011 (Solicitation # M89-AS-2025) The Permit will provide for a five (5) year term with no options to renew. Compensation to the City will be as follows: Annually, Permitee shall pay the City the greater of the following: a minimum annual guaranteed fee (based on the schedule below) or 50% of gross receipts . The City will also receive 50% of Gross Receipts generated from the Parks merchandise booth. Operating Year Minimum Annual Guaranteed Fee Gross Receipts Percentage PLUS 50% of Gross Receipts generated from the Parks merchandise booth 1 $1,900,000 50% 2 $1,928,500 50% 3 $1,957,428 50% 4 $1,986,789 50% 5 $2,016,591 50% Written testimony may be submitted in advance of the hearing electronically to [email protected] .
