Find an exam you can act on

Open exams come first, sorted by the soonest application deadline. Upcoming dates are tentative until DCAS posts the NOE. Choose an interest area — never a personal profile.

Zoning

Rezonings

Pick a rezoning to see it in plain English -- applicant, what's being built, affordable units, status -- and on a map. Try "79 Rivington" or "Gowanus".

How this list works

Rezoning data comes from NYC's Zoning Application Portal (ZAP) via NYC Open Data, which the city refreshes about monthly. A change on the live ZAP site can take weeks to appear here. Lot outlines use the same tax-lot (BBL) → MapPLUTO join ZAP Search describes. When lots cannot be matched, the map is approximate — confirm on ZoLa.

City property disposition

Hearings, sales, and awards

City Record Property Disposition notices are grouped by parcel and process stage — hearing, auction or RFP, then award or conveyance — so repeated titles collapse into one disposition chain when they share a tax lot.

City agency rulemaking

Proposal, public process, adoption

City Record Agency Rules notices are grouped by rulemaking stage — proposal, public process (comment and hearing), adoption, then effective date — so multi-notice chains collapse into one rule when the join is high-confidence.

Public hearings and meetings

Scheduled, agenda, held, outcomes

City Record hearing notices follow a meeting arc — scheduled, agenda materials, held, then outcomes — with next steps when the notice publishes how to attend or testify. Same-board same-day notices collapse into one card. Affected place still drives near-me. Venue is shown separately.

How this list works
Affected place drives “near me.” The venue is shown separately, because a Manhattan hearing can decide a Queens matter. Citywide and unlocated notices stay visible.

How multi-watch digests arrive

When one email has more than one active watch, CityScroll sends a single daily digest with a section per watch. Group the demo watches below by topic, agency, or geography to see how related alerts cluster.

No. 34) (“Original Project”). Under the Original Project, the City sold the Disposition Area to 503 Onderdonk Avenue Housing Development Fund Corporation (“Sponsor”) on January 5, 2006. At the time of sale, the building on the Disposition Area contained four (4) dwelling units, with two (2) units on the ground floor and two (2) units on the second floor. Under the Original Project, Sponsor was required to offer all existing tenants two year leases at then-current rents and, after a period of management, to sell the building for a purchase price below the appraised value to an income-eligible family who agreed to owner-occupy the building for three years, with preference given to existing residential tenants. If Sponsor was unable to sell the building as described within three years, then, with HPD’s prior approval, Sponsor had the option to either sell the building to a non-eligible family or to rent the dwelling units.

The two (2) units on the ground floor of the building are currently being used as an ambulance station and the two (2) units on the second floor are currently vacant. HPD proposes that the Original Project be amended to allow the ground floor units to continue its community facility use as an ambulance station and that the units on the second floor be rented to income-eligible families. The community facility use is permitted as-of-right in the R6B zoning district.

The proposed Amendment to Deed and Project Summary are available for public examination at the office of HPD, 100 Gold Street, Room 5-A1, New York, New York on business days during business hours.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held on December 23, 2013 at Second Floor Conference Room, 22 Reade Street, Manhattan at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be reached on the calendar, at which time and place those wishing to be heard will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed sale of the Disposition Area pursuant to Section 695(2)(b) of the General Municipal Law and Section 1802(6)(j) of the Charter.

Individuals requesting sign language interpreters should contact the Mayor's Office Of Contract Services, Public Hearings Unit, 253 Broadway, Room 915, New York, New York 10007, (212) 788-7490, no later than seven (7) business days prior to the public hearing. TDD users should call Verizon relay services.
