No. 19) as delineated in a Land Disposition Agreement. The Board of Estimate approval authorized the disposition of the Disposition Area (formerly known as Block 7068, Lots 14 and 20) to Shorefront Jewish Geriatric Center, Inc. (&ldquo;Sponsor&rdquo;), a New York not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, for the redevelopment of the then vacant property into a skilled nursing facility for senior citizens (&ldquo;Facility&rdquo;). The Sponsor has continued to operate the Facility since its original occupancy in October 1996.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> Pursuant to the approved Land Disposition Agreement, the Facility is required to be owned by a 501(c)(3) corporation. The Sponsor now wishes to convey the Facility to a new entity that is not a 501(c)(3) corporation. As the current state of financing of the Facility no longer requires ownership of a 501(c)(3) corporation, HPD is seeking Mayoral approval to remove this restriction from the Land Disposition Agreement in order to facilitate such transfer.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held on September 22, 2014 at Second Floor Conference Room, 22 Reade Street, Manhattan at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be reached on the calendar, at which time and place those wishing to be heard will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed sale of the Disposition Area pursuant to Section 695(2)(b) of the General Municipal Law and Section 1802(6)(j) of the Charter.</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> Individuals requesting sign language interpreters should contact the Mayor&#39;s Office Of Contract Services, Public Hearings Unit, 253 Broadway, Room 915, New York, New York 10007, (212) 788-7490, no later than five (5) business days prior to the public hearing.&nbsp; TDD users should call Verizon relay services.</p>
