Compare / Overview
Compare registered contracts before opening an individual record. Rankings use the complete normalized Checkbook population, not the smaller published record list.
Registered value describes contract authorization. Actual payments describe cash outlays from Checkbook NYC, the Comptroller's spending ledger.
Vendor shares within the selected agency.
CityScroll found or did not find an exact City Record award notice for each registered contract. Contracts without a PIN remain a separate missing-evaluation state.
| Agency | Eligible | Exact notice found | No exact notice found | Missing PIN |
|---|
Financial visibility and public performance evidence are separate. This view counts qualifying public terms and evaluation documents, and it does not assess outcomes.
| Agency | Total | Performance terms located | Evaluation document located | No located evidence |
|---|
Coverage counts show whether declared CityScroll sources contain qualifying performance terms or evaluation documents. A no-located-evidence count identifies a source-coverage gap. Service outcomes, vendor blame, and performance scores remain unresolved.
City staffing
Recent city appointments, newest first. Search and filters refine this list. Each appointment links to City Record.
Zoning
Pick a land-use application to see it in plain English -- applicant, what's proposed, affordable units when relevant, status -- and on a map. Try "79 Rivington" or "Gowanus".
Rezoning data comes from NYC's Zoning Application Portal (ZAP) via NYC Open Data, which the city refreshes about monthly. A change on the live ZAP site can take weeks to appear here. Lot outlines use the same tax-lot boundaries shown in ZAP Search. When a lot cannot be matched, confirm the location on ZoLa.
City property disposition
Property dispositions are grouped by parcel and process stage — hearing, auction or RFP, then award or conveyance — so repeated titles collapse when they share a tax lot. Links lead to the City Record source.
City agency rulemaking
Agency rules are grouped by stage — proposal, public process, adoption, then effective date — when the connection is clear. Each stage links to its City Record source.
What you can do now
Public hearings and meetings
A public hearing is a scheduled chance to give testimony or evidence on a specific matter. A public meeting is broader — some are open only to observe. Open any listing to see what the body can do next and how you can take part.
Exams
Open exams come first, sorted by the soonest application deadline. Upcoming dates are tentative until DCAS posts the NOE. Choose an interest area — never a personal profile.
Civil-service exams can open a path to stable public-service work. You do not need to know City hiring jargon first: start with work that interests you, check the official requirements, and apply during the listed window.
Pick what to follow, enter your email, and subscribe. One form — no account required.
One-tap multi-watch bundles for industry associations. Each pack creates separate email watches immediately.
One weekly email groups awards, hearings, land use actions, and property dispositions for this City Council District.
Choose a borough and board number. This follows that Community Board’s meetings.
When one email has more than one active watch, CityScroll sends a single daily digest with a section per watch. Group the demo watches below by topic, agency, or geography to see how related alerts cluster.
Change frequency, pause a watch, or unsubscribe from the preference center linked in every digest footer.
Changes apply to the next digest (about 9am Eastern).
If a daily watch is quiet for 14 days, we send a still-watching note so silence never looks like an outage.
Unsubscribe takes effect immediately.
